Our strategy
ADAPTIVE HOUSING
INITIATIVE
Through state and federal grants, as well as
other partnerships, we will fund
construction/renovation of modern, high end
and fully adaptive living facilities specifically
intended to accommodate disabled veterans.
Community
Building
By introducing training in groundskeeping, minor maintenance and cosmetic upkeep, we can give our capable tenants the tools to express their pride in ownership. We will also cover the expense of the basic materials needed to accomplish this initiative.
Path to
Homeownership
All this is to prepare our tenants for their own homeownership. After 10 years in our program, the tenant will become the owner of their home and will be financially responsible only for any closing costs associated with the transfer of the deed..
How it works
-
Purchase-Construct-Renovate
OneMatters will secure funding from federal and state level entities as well as private and corporate partners to purchase, develop, renovate, furnish, and accessorize our properties with modern and high end materials and fixtures.
-
Building Value
These units will be appraised at current market value of an aesthetically comparable unit, raising property values in the surrounding areas.
-
Springboard to Success
The expense of the property’s construction, furnishings and operational costs will then be deducted from the appraised value, leaving the market equity. After 10 years, the tenant owns their property. If the tenant sells, these costs will be deducted and fed back into the program.
